Daniel Peres once said that the right pair of jeans ‘plays a starring role in a man’s life’ so much so that they have been known to ‘outlast girlfriends – even wives’! So with denim adorning our very own fashion pack and front lining every catwalk for SS15 I thought I would take a look at this rugged masculine fabric and check out the latest collection of sleek denim jackets, shirts and, of course, that all important pair of perfect jeans! I’ll also be addressing that crucial question of denim-on-denim – should you or shouldn’t you?!
Whether you choose a timeless design or an acid-washed number, a denim jacket is your year-round classic and a style favourite for SS15. Your can find some great styles in an array of washes and even some with additions like borg collars, jersey sleeves or black-on-black styles to add a bit more interest. Team with a longer length tee or shirt and suede boots for a flawless look that’ll keep you stylish all summer long.

So finally a great pair of jeans – a man’s best friend and a wardrobe necessity! From skinny to relaxed, there’s jeans to suit all styles so you can look modern and stylish. Lastly, choosing the wash of a jean speaks volumes about the man wearing it so select carefully!
Think dress down Friday and opt for a pair of dark jeans which are properly tailored and team with a pair of brown suede boots and a cotton button down shirt without a tie.
